Good service. Good safe location in a nice part of town. Walking distance to museums and castle which were very interesting historical monuments. Walking distance to nice restaurants of all types.
My United (United is terrible!) flight to Mexico was delayed by a day and the hotel only gave me half off of the night I did not use.

The Nikko is well located in Polanco, has rooms that feel fresh and clean and are well equipped. the rooms are a bit small but are very cozy and comfortable, in the same manner as many 5 star hotels in Japan.
I made an appointment for a business breakfast with two other people at the Nikko, but was disappointed to find that the hotel has no fancy restaurant that serves a Mexican/"Western" breakfast. They did not want asa gohan at Benkey. So we went next door to the Presidente.

The room was a nice size and well-kept plus it had a mini bar fridge, an air conditioning, and a personal safe.
Some of the staff were a bit lazy.

Stylish and compact rooms with private bathrooms and coffee and tea making equipment, and a fridge. Ideal and fantastic location right at Parque Zoologico de Chapultepec.

expansive public spaces, panoramic view of Chapultepec Park, three fine restaurants
The hotel lacks adequate staffing for peak times!!! I experienced delays in issue resolution and confusion over meal vouchers on multiple occasions!!! Would appreciate improved communication between staff members!!!

Booking online gave us great value for the money -- $155/ night for a $300 rack rate room. The room was very nicely appointed, with a comfortable couch by the window, good size work desk, nice bathroom and great views of the nearby park.
The only problem with our stay occurred upon checkout, when the front desk staffer attempted to charge us for room service that we didn't order, and was resistant to removing it from the bill. She said it could take "quite some time" to sort out, implying that we wouldn't want to wait and should just pay the charge. We said we were willing to wait, and eventually the desk staff determined that the charge was not ours, and removed. An unfortunate and sour ending to an otherwise perfect stay.

We greatly enjoyed staying here, it's upscale and luxurious hotel with efficient staff from the servers to the desk personnel to the housekeepers. The location in a fairly quiet area was marvellous and beautiful and there were a bakery and boutiques nearby.
